Sosa the Dog needs a home
Sosa can come off as a tough guy, but on the inside he's a big mush ball. He's also a fun dog who loves toys, water, walks and going on car rides. Born in 2014, Sosa was picked up as a stray and came to Best Friends from a shelter in Indiana. He is sweet and active but also very sensitive, so he has struggled in the shelter environment. He can be shy and fearful with strangers, and he has more " stranger danger? issues when he is behind a barrier, such as a fence or gate. He does much better meeting new people outside of his room or yard. In Dogtown, he is getting plenty of practice meeting new people, and his doggie friend and roommate often helps him feel more comfortable around them. Although introductions are hard for him, once you're Sosa's friend, he's your friend for life. Sosa is crate trained and would likely do best in a calm, stable home with another dog.
